The players are on a 10-minute break while the tournament staff remove the black chips from play.

Bruce Takes Massive Pot

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We came over as they were counting down the 130,000 chip stack of Connie Bruce. She had aces against another big stack at the table which left the other player with just 3,000 after her chips were sent over to Bruce. The very next hand, Bruce eliminated the player with queens against the queen deuce of her opponent.

Nelson Busts One

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The action began when a player raised to 9,000 from under the gun. Garilyn Nelson reraised to 20,000 and action folded to the button who moved all in for less. The player under the gun folded and the hands were tabled.

Nelson: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Button: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The board fell {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Nelson's kings held up to bust a player and give Nelson an average stack.

Bicknell Busts One

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A player in late position raised all in with {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Kristen Bicknell moved in from the button with {10-}{10-}. After Bicknell called, the player said: "I didn't think anyone would call."

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Bicknell's tens are good for a few more chips.
