The Button Is Good To Andersen

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

On the last several orbits, we have noticed a pattern of play when Danielle Andersen is on the button. The action folded to Andersen and she raised. One of the blinds made the call and the flop is dealt. The blind checked and Andersen continued. The blind folded. We would say being on the button has been good to Andersen.

Renaut Eliminates One

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Claire Renaut raised from early position to 3,800 and found one call from the player in the cutoff. The flop came {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Renaut led for 4,000. The player in the cutoff thought for a minute and then moved all in. Renaut made the call and the hands were tabled.

Renaut: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Cutoff: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Renaut was ahead with two pair and the {4-Clubs} took one of her opponent's outs away. The {2-Spades} river didn't change anything and Renaut eliminated a player and is slowly building a stack.

Sena Eliminates Drury

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We came to the table with the flop of {4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs} already on the board. Danielle Drury had a bet of 10,700 in front of her and Vanessa Sena reraised to 21,000. With the decision back on Drury, she moved all in for 34,900 and Sena insta-called.

Drury: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Sena: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The {a-Clubs} turn made Sena's hand stronger and the {9-Clubs} river didn't change things. Sena and Drury were near even and chips but Sena had slightly more which means Drury was eliminated from the tournament.

Julia Rea Doubles Through Liv Boeree

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Just before break, Liv Boeree took a hit to her stack. With the board reading {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} on the flop, Julia Rea checked to Boeree, who announced she was all in. Rea thought for a minute, then decided to call. She tabled {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, while Boeree held {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The turn and river missed Boeree, and Rea's pocket sevens won the pot.

Rea doubled up, and Boeree is down to 45,000.
