Cho Loses Flip and Tournament Life

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Arden Cho's tournament has ended after his {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} couldn't out run the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} of his opponent. Cho's opponent flopped a set of fours to all but lock up the hand, while the {A-Clubs} river only served to rub salt into Cho's wounds.

Kitty Claws Her Way to 390K

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Kitty Kuo has almost 400,000 chips and is in contention for the bracelet here in Event #53.

Kuo won a huge pot just before the break where she called a raise in position with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and then raised all in on a {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop when her under the gun opponent led for 26,000. Amazingly, her opponent snap-called with only {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Kuo doubled up.

Mick Graydon
Mick Graydon

There was an all in bet from the hijack of 47,000, a bet that Mick Graydon decided to call in the big blind. Graydon flipped over {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and was up against the {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

By the river the board read {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}, shipping the pot to Graydon.

Goldkind Increases His Value

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Cliff Goldkind opened to 8,500 from the hijack and was called by the button and "Big" Mick Graydon in the big blind. Graydon checked the {3-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, Goldkind contiued with a 12,500 bet only to see the button make it 31,500 to play. Graydon folded so it was heads up to the {J-Spades} turn.

Both players checked the turn, leading the dealer to place the {5-Clubs} onto the river. Goldkind set the price to play at 38,500 and his opponent folded.
