Feenstra Busts One

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Florens Feenstra raised to 10,000 from early position and another player moved all in behind. Feenstra called and had his opponent covered not only in chips but in pocket pairs as well.

Feenstra: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board did not provide any help to the other player and he hit the rail leaving his chips with Feenstra.

Ojiri "Officially Running Hot"

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Yasuhiro Ojiri
Yasuhiro Ojiri

We found Jacob Schindler and chipleader Yasuhiro Ojiri in a heads-up pot on the turn. Schindler bet 48,000, and Ojiri made the call with the board reading {4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The river paired the board with the {4-Diamonds}. Schindler checked, and Ojiri said he was all in.

A four-minute tank ensued, which included Jesse Sylvia and Matt Marafioti getting out of their chairs to exercise. Finally, Schindler called. Ojiri turned over {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for trip fours, and Schindler sent his remaining 130,000 to the bolster the stack of the leader.

"You, sir, are officially running hot," Sylvia said.

Byrraju Takes A Huge Pot Off Karambinis

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

We walked by the table with a mound of chips in the middle and the board complete. It read {9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades} and we saw Byrraju move his remaining 100,00 into the middle. Chris Karambinis made the call and was stunned to see Byrraju turn over {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for the flush. Karambinis showed the {k-Spades} before counting out the chips to send over to Byrraju. According to his rail, he had the {k-Hearts} to go along with his other king.

Karambinis almost had Byrraju's hand mucked on the very next hand. Byrraju was the big blind and he was still stacking the massive pot when Karambinis overzealously sent his cards to the muck and they ended up in the vincity of Byrraju's cards. The dealer held up play and called for the floor. The floor verified what Karambinis was holding and removed those cards from the area. Apparently this is the second time this has happened on Byrraju's blind.

Sylvia Takes Tamayo to Value Town

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jesse Sylvia bet out from the small blind after a flop of {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Jonathan Tamayo called him, and the two saw a {4-Spades} turn. Sylvia fired 24,000 this time, and Tamayo again called. The river was the {5-Diamonds}, and Sylvia continued barreling with a bet of 57,500. Tamayo seemed displeased with the development, but he eventually called. Sylvia showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, taking the pot with trips.

Ace On The River

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jonathan Tamayo raised to 10,500 and to his direct left, Yasuhiro Ojiri reraised to 32,000. After confirming the amount of the raise, Tamayo made the call. Both players checked the {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Tamayo checked the {9-Spades} turn at which time Ojiri bet 46,000. After some thought, Tamayo called. Tamayo again check-called but this time it was on the {a-Clubs} river and the bet from Ojiri was 50,000.

Ojiri tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for two pair and Tamayo slid his cards into the muck.
