Bonyadi Eliminated

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Farzad Bonyadi committed the remainder of his chips in pre flop, and was called by Kent Roed.

Roed: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Bonyadi: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}

In the space of just a few hands, Bonyadi was eliminated from the tournament, after the board ran out {5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, to see Roed make a higher pair on the flop, as he took down the pot.

Pritchard Doubles

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Carter Swidler opened to 4,000 from under the gun plus one, before Jason Pritchard opted to move all in for 18,200 from late position. The action folded back around to Swidler, who asked for a count, before making the call.

Swidler: {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Pritchard: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Pritchard stood up from his chair and appeared to be leaving as the board ran out {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, before he noticed that he had acutally won the hand.

“I’m sorry,” said Pritchard. “I honestly didn’t see the flop.”

Swidler didn’t mind, as he only lost a small portion from his big stack.
