Zawadzki Doubles in Preflop Raising War

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Mikolaj Zawadzki had his opponent crushed.
Mikolaj Zawadzki had his opponent crushed.

We found Mikolaj Zawadzki, in middle position, and an opponent on the button involved in a raising war preflop. The button had made it 22,900, and Zawadzki repopped to 43,500. After about two minutes of thought, the button jammed all in with a bigger stack. Zawadzki called instantly.

Zawadzki: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Button: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Zawadzki was in fantastic shape, and he had his opponent dead by the turn on a {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Hearts} runout.

Lichtenberger Triples

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Three players got it all in on a flop of {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Steve Lichtenberger held {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for bottom set, while his opponents had {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} and {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. The turn was the {j-Hearts} and the river the {10-Hearts}, and Andrew Lichtenberger's brother tripled up with a full house.
