Harwood Busts Another

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Loni Harwood raised to 1,200 from under the gun, and a late position player three-bet all in for about 14,000. Everyone folded around to Harwood, who quickly announced a call. She turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and was behind her opponent's {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. When Harwood saw the bad news, she asked for an exact count so she could prepare the chips to send his way. Her opponent, however, said nothing, and sat stoically watching the center of the felt while the dealer prepared to spread the board. The flop came {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}, proving no immediate help to either player. The turn, however, was the {4-Spades}, giving Harwood a flush draw. She called for a spade, and sure enough, the {9-Spades} fell on the river. Harwood won the hand with her flush, busting her opponent from the tournament.

Kling Continues To Dominate

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

We didn't see the chain of events that led Lauren Kling to call a player's all in with {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} against her opponent's {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, but it all worked out. The board read {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Kling is making quite the castle.

Here are a few other chip counts we found while wandering around:

Nitsche Busts

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Dominik Nitsche raised all in for his last 775. The player to his immediate left then raised to 2,000. And Sam Ourada called from the big blind. The flop came {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Ourada checked, then called a 2,000 bet. Both players checked the turn when the {4-Spades} fell, and then also checked the {6-Diamonds} river. Ourada showed {3-Hearts}{4-Spades} for two pair. Nitsche showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, and the third player held {a-}{j-}. Ourada won both the main pot and the side pot. Nitsche made his exit, and Ourada is now up to 23,000.
