Armstrong's Stack Weakens

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action hasn't slowed down at the feature tables in the middle of the Amazon Room. We just found Roman Shaposhnikov all in preflop for 215,000 with {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} against Jamie Armstrong's {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. The {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop provided a huge sweat, giving Shaposhnikov top set and Armstrong the nut flush draw, but the {9-Hearts} on the turn ended it quickly as Shaposhnikov made a boat. The meaningless {6-Diamonds} river card secured the double for Shaposhnikov, while Armstrong slid to 230,000.
