Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi was just moved to Phil Ivey's table at the ESPN main stage (along with Anthony Gregg) and it took a predictable two hands for them to clash.
James Hudson started the action with a raise to 5,500 under the gun and Mizrachi three-bet to 11,600 from middle position. Ivey called from the big blind, Hudson called, and the flop came down ![]()
![]()
. Ivey led out for 25,000, Hudson ducked out of the way, and Mizrachi called to see the
turn. This time Ivey fired 70,000 and after a few moments, Mizrachi gave it up.

After losing some chips in the previous pot at his table, Ronnie Bardah moved right back to 300,000 after sending a player to the rail on the very next hand.
Action folded to a new player to the table in the cutoff seat, and he raised all in for 21,000. Bardah called from the small blind, then Brian Applebaum folded out of the big blind. Bardah tabled the ![]()
, and his all-in opponent the ![]()
.
The flop, turn and river ran out ![]()
![]()
![]()
![]()
, and Bardah won the pot.
On Bardah's starting day earlier in the 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event, we mentioned how he was working on his fourth consecutive WSOP Main Event cash, having cashed in 2010, 2011 and 2012. If Bardah were to make it to the money this year, he would tie the record for consecutive Main Event cashes held by Chris Bjorin. Bjorin cashed four straight years from 2008-2011.

We're unsure of the betting order before we arrived at the table, but when we got there, Rachid Ben Cherif had 6,000 in front of him, Matthias Bednarek had raised all in for 60,300, and Jeffrey Ziegler had called. After thinking for a minute Ben Cherif called as well. The flop came ![]()
![]()

fell on the turn, and again when the
came on the river. Bednarek turned over ![]()
, Ben Cherif held ![]()
, but Ziegler showed ![]()
for a pair of kings. Ziegler pulled in the pot, bringing him up to 326,000 in chips, and Bednarek made his way to the exit.

Brett Richey opened with a raise from the button, then saw an opponent in the big blind reraise and Richey responded with a four-bet to 20,000. His opponent then reraised again to 41,000, after which Richey paused about a half-minute, then declared he was all in. Gradually he stacked all of his chips out before him to show they total 176,500.
His opponent tanked for some time, then finally with a slight shake of his head let his hand go.

Phil Mader opened to 7,000 in the hijack and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi three-bet to 15,200 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Mader who called to see a ![]()

flop. Mader checked to Mizrachi who bet 15,000, but Mader wasted little time check-raising to 35,000. Mizrachi clicked it back to 55,000, but that was met with another raise from Mader to 85,000. Mizrachi gave it some thought, but folded.
