Cooler Busts Negreanu

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

On the flop, with the board showing {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Daniel Negreanu faced a bet of 1,000. He raised to 2,200, and his opponent called. The turn was the {a-Hearts}, putting four hearts on board, and Negreanu's opponent again bet out, this time for 2,000. Negreanu quickly called. The river was the {k-Diamonds}, and Negreanu's opponent quickly pushed all-in. Negreanu didn't look too happy about the situation, but he didn't seem like he wanted to fold either. He muttered "Brutal, man," and went into the tank for a minute. Eventually, he pushed his remaining chips forward, and his opponent turned over {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flopped flush. Negreanu turned over {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a lower flopped flush, and Kid Poker, gracious in defeat, made his exit.

Double Up for Moorman

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

On the turn, with over 4,000 in the middle and a board of {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Chris Moorman faced a bet of 10,000 from AP Phahurat. Moorman spent a minute in the tank, and then called all-in for less than Phahurat's bet. Phahurat turned over {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for an open-ended straight draw, but Moorman tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens. The river card was no help to Phahurat, and Moorman doubled up to 22,000.

AP Phahurat was left short-stacked, and he busted out a few hands later.

Action Turn Card for Lindley

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We came to the action on the flop with the board showing {4-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Christina Lindley had checked, and her lone opponent bet 1,100. Lindley made the call, and dealer rolled out the turn card, a {7-Spades}. That's when the real action began.

Turn action started much like the flop. Lindley checked and her opponent bet out, 3,100 this time. Unlike the flop though, Lindley check-raised to 7,000. Her opponent quickly moved all-in, and Lindley insta-called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair. Her opponent turned over {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush draw. The harmless {8-Hearts} on the river secured the pot for Lindley.

Lindley had fewer chips, so no one was eliminated on the hand, but Lindley is now up to 37,000.

Hellmuth Knocks One Out, Nearly A Double Up

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Preflop, one player moved all in for 2,700 from early position. Action folded to Phil Hellmuth who then reraised all in for 3,300. All other players folded and the two players were heads up.

Hellmuth: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
All In Player: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

"One of us needs to double up," the all in player said, offering Hellmuth a fist bump, which he obliged while laughing.

The board rolled out {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{j-Spades} giving Hellmuth the winning two pair and a near double up.
