Curran Busts in 77th Place

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jason Curran shoved all in from middle position for 14,600 and right behind him, Brett Halladay also announced that he was all in; Everyone else got out of the way and they were heads up. Curran was the player at risk and his {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} needed to improve against the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Halladay.

The flop of {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} provided a sweat, but the board ran out {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Halladay took the pot and Curran busted.

Halladay did mention that he's related to retired Major Leaguer Roy Halladay. "Some sort of super-distant blood cousin," he said.
