Another Double For Chidwick

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We picked up the action on fourth street when Stephen Chidwick bet and Brock Parker made the call. On fifth street Chidwick moved all in for his final 7,500 chips and Parker called.

Chidwick: {4-}{2-} / {7-}{5-}{2-}
Parker: {3-}{8-} / {A-}{9-}{6-}

With two cards to come Chidwick needed some help. The Englishman caught a {K-} on sixth against Parker's {7-}, but the river was there to help as the all-in player received a {5-} to make him a seven-five low. Parker caught another seven and stranded with a eight-seven low.

Mercier Makes a Wheel, Singer Crippled

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Jason Mercier and David Singer just played a big pot, in which the former managed to make a wheel. We picked up the action on fifth street when Mercier bet and Singer tanked for a bit before making the call.

On sixth street Mercier quickly bet again, and Singer tanked for quite a long time before ultimately making the call again.

Mercier: (X-X) / {A-}{2-}{4-}{5-} / (X)
Singer: (X-X) / {6-}{7-}{7-}{3-} / (X)

On seventh street Mercier looked down at his cards before putting in another bet. Singer, again, took his time but he couldn't find a way to fold his cards. As soon as he called Mercier announced he had a wheel and showed {3-}{7-}{9-}.

Singer was left behind with 18,000 chips and he'll need to make some hands quickly in order to stay alive in this event.
