Hands #49-56: Gillis Doubles

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #49: Ted Gillis pushed all in and won the hand preflop.

Hand #50: Dejan Divkovic got a walk in the big blind.

Hand #51: Divkovic limped in the small blind and Gillis pushed all in from the big blind to win the hand.

Hand #52: Divkovic raised to 100,000 from the button and Gillis pushed all in. Divkovic took his time before folding. "Did I have live cards? King-ten," he asked. "I forget what I had," Gillis responded.

Hand #53: Jacobo Fernandez limped in the small blind and John Hennigan checked his option in the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Fernandez check-called Hennigan's bet of 50,000. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Fernandez led out for 100,000, which Hennigan quickly called. Fernandez showed {5-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for rivered two pairs and Hennigan mucked.

Hand #54: Gillis raised to 100,000 from under the gun and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #55: Fernandez raised to 105,000 from under the gun and Gillis pushed all in when action folded to him in the big blind. He won the pot preflop.

Hand #56: Gillis limped in the small blind and Fernandez raised to 150,000, which Gillis called. The flop came {10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Gillis pushed all in. Fernandez called and flipped up the better hand: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Gillis showed {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and he needed some help to survive. The turn was the {3-Clubs}. Gillis narrowly escaped elimination when the river came {10-Diamonds} and he won the pot with trip tens. "Wow," he said in disbelief.
