Dato KO's Hellmuth

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Andrea Dato opened to 1,600 from under the gun, Phil Hellmuth three-bet shoved for 11,700 from the next seat over and Eddy Sabat called in the big blind. Dato re-shoved for about 40,000 effective, sending Sabat into the tank for a bit before he folded {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

Dato: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Hellmuth: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, safe for Dato to send Hellmuth to the rail.

Sacramento King

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
JC Tran
JC Tran

JC Tran, who seemingly always sports a Sacramento Kings hat, raised to 1,700 on the button. One player in the big blind called, and the pair checked on a flop of {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, the two checked again, and the {k-Clubs} completed the board.

The player led out for 2,600, the 2013 November Niner called, and the player in the big blind showed {k-Spades}{10-Spades}. Tran had him out-kicked with {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, and was awarded the pot.

Forza Sammartino

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Bryan Colin raised to 2,000 in the cutoff, Dario Sammartino three-bet to 6,800 out of the small blind, and Colin made the call.

The 2013 IPT Sanremo runner-up finisher led out for 7,000 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Colin called, and the turn was a third ten - the {10-Clubs}. Sammartino fired out another 11,400, Colin again called, and the {a-Diamonds} completed the board.

The Italian emptied the chamber, firing a third and final bullet worth 14,000, and Colin tank-called. Sammartino showed {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for tens full of kings, and Colin sent his cards into the muck.

Kenney Nearly Wins a Huge One

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Bryn Kenney raised to 1,800 in the hijack, Bryan Colin three-bet to 5,500 in the cutoff, and Dario Sammartino cold four-bet to 10,700 out of the small blind. Kenney put in a fifth bet, making it 23,600 to go, and Colin moved all in for 24,900 - less than a legal raise.

This meant the action was capped, and all Sammartino could do was call or fold. He chose the former.

The dealer fanned {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{k-Spades}, Sammartino checked, and Kenney placed out a bet of what looked like 17,000 or so. Sammartino let out a long sigh, then flashed {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} before folding.

Kenney: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Colin: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Kenney's aces held as the turn and river bricked {2-Diamonds}, {3-Diamonds} respectively, and Kenney pulled in the pot.

"Cazo," Sammartino blurted, still upset about folding his two queens.

"You lost the minimum," Kenney told him, grinning.
