Dandrea, O'Brien and Brikis Exit

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Bassil Karam raised to 5,000 in the cutoff, Ariel Celestino reraised to 14,000 on his direct left, and Raymond Dandrea moved all in for 30,900 out of the small blind. Karam quickly folded and Celestino let out a long sigh.

"If it's under forty I have to call," he said, leaning back in his chair. "How much is it?"

The dealer confirmed the amount, and Celestino called.

Celestino: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Dandrea: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The flop fell {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs}, changing very little, but the {2-Diamonds} on the turn gave Celestino an additional four outs to make a wheel.

"Three," the Brazilian requested.

The dealer obliged, revealing the {3-Hearts} on the river, and Celestino completed his straight draw. Dandrea was eliminated.

While Dandrea was getting up from the table, Dan O'Brien and Josh Brikis were busted from adjacent tables with unknown action.

Huge Double For Kottler, Grospellier Crippled

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Jeremy Givens raised from the button to 5,000 and Jeremy Kottler called from the small blind. Bertrand Grospellier, known for his aggressive style, three-bet from the big blind to 17,500 and Givens made the call.

"All in," Kottler announced and shortly thereafter Grospellier moved all in as well. Givens folded and the heads up showdown went as following.

Kottler: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Grospellier: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Grospellier shook his head as he paid off 102,600 chips to Kottler. The French pro's crippled while Kottler's among the bigger stacks in the room.

Dropping Like Flies

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Scott Seiver (Previous event) - Eliminated
Scott Seiver (Previous event) - Eliminated

Nicholas Petitti was all in and at risk for around 20,000 or so preflop with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, and Jay Dragland had him at risk with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Both players made a pair of aces on the {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop, and Dragland took a commanding lead when the turn brought the {10-Clubs}. The {9-Diamonds} bricked off on the river, and Petitti was eliminated.

At the neighboring table, we saw Scott Seiver get up from his chair and the dealer yell, "Payout!"

When we arrived, the board was completed {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} and {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} was sitting in front of Pierre Neuville. Neuville said Seiver flopped top two pair - this is obviously impossible because Seiver would've then made a full house - so we are to assume that Seiver may have had {9-}{5-} and was counterfeited on the turn.

While all of this was happening, Andrea Dato busted Viet Vo, Amanda Musumeci took out Kevin Saul, and Bjorn Li exited with unknown action.

Value For Hamby

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The board read {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} when we saw Jared Hamby put out a bet of 21,700. He was called by [Removed:551] after a while who mucked when Hamby showed {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

Hamby won his first WSOP gold bracelet last year in a $1,500 No Limit Hold'em for $525,272 and he's on track for another very deep run here today.

Grospellier Gone

Benny Chen raised to 5,200 from the hijack seat, Jean Gaspard three-bet to 12,000 in the cutoff, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier called all in for 11,000 or so in the big blind. Chen called as well.

Both Chen and Gaspard checked it down as the flop, turn, and river came {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, and Grospellier opened up {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for queens and jacks. Gaspard revealed {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for kings and deuces, however and Grospellier hit the rail.

And The Table Gets Tougher

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

As we're down to 47 players, on just eight tables, there are many tough ones out there. Byron Kaverman just took the only empty one over on the table listed below, and it sure isn't an easy one.

You'll Never Get This

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

David Borrat and Hunter Frey both checked on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and the turn was a repeat nine - the {9-Hearts}. Borrat fired out 8,000, Frey called, and the river was the {5-Clubs}.

Borrat bet another 12,000 on the river, Frey made the call, and Borrat showed {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for king-high. Frey rolled over {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a pair of aces, and dragged the pot.
