Warrington Loses Two Pots In Quick Succession

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Ben Warrington raised to 4,500 from middle position and was called by the player in the hijack seat. Warrington tested the waters with a 5,500 bet on the {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop and was called. Both players then checked down the {K-Hearts} turn and {4-Spades} river, Warrington's {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} losing out to the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

A couple of hands later, Warrington raised to 4,500 once again and was called by Jerry Yang on the button. The pair watched on as the {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop came into play, Warrington greeting it with a 5,500 continuation bet. Yang called and it was off to the {8-Hearts} turn.

Warrington initially checked, but then folded when Yang set the price to play at 11,000.

He may have lost a little ground but Warrington still has almost quarter of a million chips and is in a very comfortable position right now. The same can be said of his table mate Roberto Romanello who has 214,000 chips.
