Churchill Takes a Chunk From Green

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

After a flop of {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Perry Green fired out 7,000 from the big blind after the small blind checked. The button then agonized for a while before folding, opening the way for Jamison Churchill to check-shove all in for 10,500 total. Green made the call, but he got bad news.

Churchill: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Green: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Green had the nut flush draw, but Churchill had three blockers, as well as a straight flush draw to go with his nut straight. The board ran out clean for Churchill, and the 1981 WSOP Main Event Runner-Up sent a portion of his stack to his right.
