Erick Lindgren Eliminated in 5th Place ($129,192)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Erick Lindgren - 5th Place
Erick Lindgren - 5th Place

Hand #40: Jeremy Ausmus raised to 80,000 on the button, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #41: Erick Lindgren moved all in for 490,000 from the small blind, and Max Silver called in the big blind.

Lindgren: {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Silver: {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Spades} flop gave Lindgren a backdoor straight draw, and the {q-Spades} kept that draw alive. Lindgren could make a straight with an eight or a king on the river - or win with a simple pair - but the {a-Diamonds} bricked off on the river.

"Well," Lindgren said as he walked to the rail to embrace his wife. "That wasn't fun."

He'll earn $129,192 for his fifth-place finish, while Silver is up to 2.4 million chips.
