Pok Kim Doubles And Then Shows Aces

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

First Pok Kim moved all in from the cutoff for 39,000 and found a caller in Martin Finger out of the big blind with {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Kim had {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and doubled up thanks to two pair on the {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board.

Shortly after, Shelby Standley raised to 12,000 and then folded to the all in of Kim for 84,500 when his opponent showed way too much confidence as per his table chat. Kim flashed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}.

Collin Cheung
Collin Cheung

After the previous lost coin-flip, Collin Cheung moved all in and found a caller in Paul Cogliano. Cheung had {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Cogliano had that beat preflop with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The {7-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} board didn't run out without a sweat, but ultimately, Cogliano held up and sent Cheung to the rail.

Dilda Doubles

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded around to Vinny Pahuja in the small blind who bet enough to put his short-stacked neighbor, Eric Dilda, all in.

Dilda took the bait with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and asked the dealer for "no spades" when he saw Pahuja’s {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.

His wish was granted when the board ran out {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and top pair was good enough to get Dilda a double up.

Shelby Standley Eliminated in 24th Place ($8,446)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded to Paul Cogliano and he moved all in out of the small blind. Shelby Standley, who had just recently been moved to the table, called all in for what looked like 75,000.

Showdown:
Cogliano: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Standley: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The short-stack was ahead, but the {9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop gave Cogliano the lead. After the {7-Spades} turn, Standley was asking for a 10, before realizing that it wouldn't help him. The {5-Hearts} river completed the board and Standley headed to the payout desk to collect his $8,446.

Simon Tse - 23rd

Simon Tse opened from early position and Dutch Boyd took his time making a decision.

Tse had been check-raising Boyd frequently today and showing him bluffs. Boyd went for the three-bet and Tse moved all in. Boyd instantly called.

Boyd: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

Tse: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

“Nice hand,” Tse said and stood up.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Boyd had Tse covered and he was out.

Dan Kelly

Dan Kelly and Will Givens were involved in a hand that saw them both head to the {3-}{3-}{5-} flop and Givens moved all in. Kelly thought about his decision for a while and made the call, flipping over {5-}{7-}. Givens gave him a run for the 120,000 chips behind with {A-}{9-}. Whereas the {4-} was of no help, the {A-} river improved Givens and Kelly was sent to the rail.

Eric Dilda Eliminated in 21st Place ($8,446)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Eric Dilda
Eric Dilda

Eric Dilda raised from late position to 16,000 and found a caller in Steven Norden out of the big blind. On the {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop, Norden check-raised all in and Dilda called after betting 20,000 himself with about another 120,000 behind. Norden turned over {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Dilda was shocked while revealing {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

Things got worse for Dilda with the {Q-Diamonds} turn, though, as it gave Norden the straight. The {6-Spades} river completed the board and Dilda almost fell out of his chair before leaving the tournament area, shaking his head in disappointment.

Brad Libson Eliminated in 20th Place ($8,446)

A betting war broke out between Brad Libson and Sean Jazayeri.

Libson: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Jazayeri: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

The {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop provided no excitement or further outs for Libson and it was already over after the {A-Hearts} turn. A meaningless {6-Hearts} completed the board and Libson headed to the payout desk.

Domingos Fernandes

After the elimination of Dan Kelly, Domingos Fernandes got moved to Table 440 and found himself on the button, with the action folded to him. He moved all in for what looked like 100,000. Will Givens called out of the small blind and big blind Sean Jazayeri folded.

Fernandes: {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Givens: {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and Givens made the flush with the deuce, Fernandes played one hand on the new table and was sent to the payout desk. The remaining 18 players will now see another redraw for the two final tables.
