Nice River Call from Boyd

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The {7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} board was already completed and Simon Tse bet 20,000, sending Dutch Boyd into the think-tank. He eventually grabbed the four orange T5000 chips for the call, gave it another thought and then tossed them in the middle.

Tse was caught with his fingers in the cookie jar and had to turn over the {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}; Boyd won the pot with {8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. His opponent and other players on the table agreed that it was a nice call.

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Dan O'Brien
Dan O'Brien

The show gets off to a bumpy start thanks to a few technical difficulties, but a great story about a David Williams bluff and another about "hood" poker get the ball rolling again. Dan O'Brien then joins the program to talk about his jet ski accident, his Me vs. U challenge against Danielle Andersen, and more.

Finger Had a Royal

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Sean Jazayeri told us that Martin Finger doubled up through him on the very last hand before the break when the money went in on a {K-}{Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{X-} turn. Jazayeri had {K-}{J-} and Finger drew to the nuts with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The {J-Clubs} river brought the royal flush for the German and he doubled up to pretty much average.

Jaka Blind Defender

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Faraz Jaka
Faraz Jaka

Faraz Jaka defended his big blind from an open to 6,000. The flop was {10-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Jaka opted for a check -fold.

The next hand opened to 7,500 from early position with one caller. Jaka called in the small blind. A flop of {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} saw Jaka lead out for 14,000, but lay it down when the original raiser moved all in.

Aces Versus Kings, Battle of the Shorties

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Steven Norden doubled up through an opponent after the open-raise and the three-bet of Joe Ebanks on the button to 17,000. Norden had {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} one seat over and the initial raiser got into a showdown with him with pocket kings for 121,000 chips. The {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board stayed clear and the opponent was down to only a few big blinds.

Said opponent then moved all in and Allan Farber did so as well with 1,000 chips more, revealing {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} in the showdown. The opponent turned over {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and flushed Farber on the {8-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board. One hand later, Farber's remaining chips disappeared via lost coin flip with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} versus {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Jazayeri Doesn't Like Queens Anymore

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Sean Jazayeri min-raised to 6,000 from early position and Jeremy Joseph moved all in for 119,000 out of the blinds. Jazayeri called with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and got shown {Q-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. On top of the one over card, the {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop provided a flush draw as well for Joseph. The {J-Diamonds} turn didn't change anything but the {8-Clubs} river completed the flush and Jazayeri's previous big stack has been depleted.
