Finger Finishes Brito

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Martin Finger
Martin Finger

Martin Finger has finally finished off Omar Brito.

Finger bet 10,000 on a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Spades} and called a raise of 30,000 from Brito. The turn card was the {9-Spades}. Brito moved all in and Finger instantly called.

Brito had {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} but all he could say was, “Oh, my God,” as Finger nonchalantly flipped over {7-Spades}{5-Spades}.

“Straight flush,” another player correctly pointed put. “You had a royal flush and now you have straight flush?”

There wasn’t much Finger could say to that, so he said nothing.

Give Me a Three

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Gualter Salles
Gualter Salles

Gualter Salles moved all in from early position for only 24,000 and the action folded to Pok Kim in the big blind. She peeked at her cards and then announced the call.

Salles: {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Kim: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

After the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, she asked the dealer for a three. That wish wasn't granted, but both the {4-Clubs} turn and the {8-Diamonds} river blanked and Salles was eliminated. Kim let out a celebratory yes and raked in the chips. She is still one of the short-stacks, though.

Jazayeri Jacks It Up

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jeremy Joseph had bet out on a flop reading {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Sean Jazayeri moved all in over the top of him for about 70,000 more. Joseph gave it a bit of thought and then made the call.

Jazayeri had {j-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Joseph made the call with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and the river was the {3-Spades}, missing all of Joseph’s outs and giving Jazayeri a double up.

Jaka's Isolation Not Fruitful

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

A short-stack moved all in for only 6,000 and there was a raise to 15,000 before Faraz Jaka made the four-bet out of the small blind. The three-bettor folded and Jaka first turned over the {2-Spades}, followed by the {A-Spades}. The short-stack had {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and stayed alive on the {5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{x-}{4-Diamonds} board.

We have about 12 minutes left until the dinner break. There are 30 players remaining.

Givens Gets Some

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Will Givens was looking at a board reading {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. His opponent bet 16,000 and Givens made it 46,000.

“Show if I fold?” Givens was asked, but he didn’t move a muscle. “Sick play if you don’t got it,” he said, and made the fold.

Givens didn’t show or tell, he just stacked the chips
