Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Steve Sung completed and Steven Albini raised with Aleksandr Denisov making the call along with Sung. Albini bet and only Denisov called before that action was repeated on fifth. Sixth street saw Albini check-call 4,000 before doing so on seventh street as well.

Albini: {X-}{X-} / {6-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} / {X-}
Denisov: {X-}{X-} / {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades} / {X-}

Denisov tabled his {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a straight as Albini flashed his {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and mucked while slipping to 32,500. Denisov is now back to having a six-figure chip stack.

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante
Cyndy Violette busted shortly after the money bubble burst.
Cyndy Violette busted shortly after the money bubble burst.

Cyndy Violette was all in on an early street, and Nabih Helmi and Steve Diano continued to build a side pot until checking the river.

Violette: {4-}{4-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Helmi: {7-}{x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Diano: {a-}{a-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Violette's two pair was good against Diano, who had unimproved aces, but Helmi had made queens up to take both the side pot and the main pot, eliminating Violette.

Steve Sung
Steve Sung

Steve Sung, who entered the day as the leader, is back atop the counts.

Sung fired all of the big bet streets against Aleksandr Denisov, who called it down. Sung rolled over a huge hand:

Sung: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}/{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Denisov: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Denisov coudn't top the quads, and Sung dragged the hefty pot to swap approximate chip stacks with Denisov.
