Hands #1-5: Raising Pot Takes the Pot

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Hand #1: Matt Dames raised to 35,000 from the cutoff and Dimitrii Valouev called from the big blind. Valouev led out for 53,000 on the {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and after thinking for nearly a minute, Dames folded to give Valouev the pot.

Hand #2: Galen Hall received a walk.

Hand #3: Hall completed from the small blind and Brandon Paster checked his option. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the {K-Diamonds} turn, Paster would immediately fold as soon as Hall reached for some chips.

Hand #4: Hall limped from the button, Paster completed the small blind, and Millard Hale checked his option out of the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Paster led out for 30,000. Hale announced a pot-sized raised, to 138,000, and Hall and Paster both folded.

Hand #5: Kevin Saul opened for 33,000 from middle position and Gabriel Nassif called from the big blind. Nassif would check-raise Saul's 35,000 continuation bet, making a pot-sized raise, and Saul would quickly fold.
