Igor Skochilo Eliminated in 19th Place ($16,573)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Igor Skochilo - 19th
Igor Skochilo - 19th

Igor Skochilo moved all in from the small blind and Pfizer Jordan made the call blind from the big blind.

Skochilo had {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} but the random hand that Jordan had been dealt was {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Skochilo gave a little fist pump when he saw he had made a straight but quickly realised that Jordan had made the higher straight.

Anthony Spinella Eliminated in 20th Place ($16,573)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Anthony Spinella - 20th Place
Anthony Spinella - 20th Place

On a four-bet preflop, Anthony Spinella and Takashi Yaguri got 125,000 each into the middle. The flop was {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {9-Spades} and Spinella led for 73,000. Yaguri moved all in and Spinella made the call.

Yaguri: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Spinella: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The {3-Spades} fell on the river and a disappointed Spinella collected his stuff and headed to the rail.

Matt Affleck Eliminated in 21st Place ($16,573)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Matt Affleck - 21st Place
Matt Affleck - 21st Place

Takashi Yagura has been extremely active so far, opening seemingly every pot when he was first to act.

Yagura opened for 25,000 and Affleck called in the small blind to see a heads-up flop of {6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Affleck checked and after some thought Yagura picked up some yellow T1000 chips and declared he was all in. Affleck got a count of 196,000 which just had him covered and made the call.

Affleck: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Yagura: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river couldn’t improve Affleck, and he was the next to leave.

Matt Affleck opened to 23,000 from middle position and Darrell Tipton moved all in from the button. Takashi Yagura also moved all in from the small blind for 97,000 total and Affleck made the call. Yagura and Tipton were both at risk.

Affleck: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Yagura: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Tipton: {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Yagura's pair held for the near triple while Tipton headed to the rail.

Yagura Left Short

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Takashi Yagura has been left short after a recent hand with Clyde Walters. There was a 65,000 bet from Walters on the flop of {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs} that Yagura called, then Yagura called another bet of 125,000 on the {q-Diamonds} turn. They both checked the {2-Spades} river and Walters showed {k-}{q-} to win a decent pot and leave Yagura with not much room to maneuver.

Le Staying Alive

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Nam Le has been all in and doubled up three times already here on Day 3, including being in the big blind on one hand with just three big blinds remaining. He has "octupled up" as Ryan Jaconetti put it.

Walters Doubles Through Yagura

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We picked up the action with a board of {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Clyde Walters facing a 31,000 bet from Takashi Yagura. Walters raised all in for 209,000 total, then Yagura thought for a while and eventually called with {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flush draw. Walters tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for top pair of jacks.

The board completed {9-Spades} then {7-Spades}, and Walters faded the flush and overcard to double-up.

Bernard Lee Eliminated in 23rd Place ($16,573)

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Bernard Lee - 23rd Place
Bernard Lee - 23rd Place

Takashi Yagura opened for 21,000 and Bernard Lee moved all in. Matt Affleck then decalred he was all in with a similar stack to Lee's and Yagura left them to fight it out.

Lee held {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and was facing the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Affleck.

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Lee was left with two T1000 chips while Affleck doubled up.

Lee was all in again the next hand with {q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and a raise from Clyde Walters holding {a-Spades}{10-Spades} isolated him. The board brought no help for Lee, and he was eliminated.

Brian Pinkus Eliminated in 24th Place ($16,573)

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jacob Schindler limped in late position and Brian Pinkus moved all in from the small blind. Schindler made the quick call and tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Pinkus was in need of serious help with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}, but it didn't come as the board ran out {4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Pinkus, who told us he had "one-point-two million" in chips every time we'd listen, is now left with zero.
