Max Silver Defeats Don Nguyen

Level 18 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Max Silver got all in for his last 38,300 preflop against Don Nguyen.

Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Silver: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Nguyen, his dominating hand fell way behind on the {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop. An {8-Diamonds} and {6-Clubs} didn't bring any justice, and Silver doubled up.

A few hands later, Nguyen raised from the button and called the shove of Silver.

Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Silver: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Silver got lucky on the flop once again: {10-}{8-}{6-}. Two bricks rolled out for Silver, and last year's runner-up is done after one match.
