They checked to the turn of a {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board where Colman bet 20,000. McArthurs min-raised to 40,000, Colman called and both checked the {Q-Diamonds} river. Colman tabled {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, McArthur mucked and Colman took the pot.

A few hands later McArthur shoved for about 110,000 on the button and Colman called.

Chidwick, Kurnaz Battling

Stephen Chidwick check-called a bet of 31,000 from Serkan Kurnaz on a board of {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, and both players checked the {k-Hearts} river. Chidwick showed {k-Clubs}{5-Spades} for trips to take the pot and get back to near even.

Soon afterward, though, Chidwick fired 12,000 on an {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop in position, and Kurnaz called. Both players checked the {5-Hearts} turn, and Chidwick bet 23,000 on the {10-Clubs} river when checked to. Kurnaz showed {a-Spades}{6-Hearts} for top pair after he called, and he took the pot.

Jason Koon check-called 32,000 from Michael Ferrell with the board reading {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. On the {8-Diamonds} river, Koon put Ferrell all in for his last 70,000 or so, and Ferrell thought for about a minute before calling it off.

"Good game," Koon said, flipping {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and knowing he couldn't be behind if Ferrell took that much time. Sure enough, Ferrell showed him {a-}{7-} for top pair before he got up to leave.

Davies and Gomez Advance

With about 90,000 in the pot and the board reading {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Salvatore Bianco was all in for about 110,000. Alberto Gomez tanked for a bit before calling with {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, besting Bianco's {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to win the match.

On a nearby table Scott Davies raised to 12,000 on the button, Dan Smith three-bet to 34,000, Davies four-bet shoved with the bigger stack and Smith called all in for a bit more than 210,000 with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Davies held a slight lead {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} and took it down when the board ran out {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.
