Harman Climbing

Level 8

Pot-Limit Omaha 8

Robert Mizrachi raised to 700 from the cutoff and Jen Harman called from the small blind. The duo took a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Harman checked to the raiser. Mizrachi continued out for 700 only to have Harman come over the top for 2,700 total. Mizrachi thought for a moment, but ultimately opted to ditch his hand. Harman was pushed the pot and now sits on a stack of about 28,500 in chips.

MacPhee Doubles

Level 9

Pot-Limit Hold'em

An early positioned player cut out a raise and a short-stacked Kevin MacPhee moved all in over the top for his last 700. Action folded back to the original raiser who mulled over the decision for a moment.

"Alright, I feel lucky," said MacPhee's opponent.

MacPhee: {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, offering MacPhee a straight and giving him the winning hand to double. He's now sitting on about 1,500 in chips.

Ruben Eliminates Nguyen

Level 9
Scotty Nguyen - Eliminated
Scotty Nguyen - Eliminated

No-Limit Hold'em

Brian Rast was under the gun and opened with a raise to 550. Scotty Nguyen flatted from the next seat over and it folded around to Brad Ruben in the small blind. Ruben cut out a three-bet to 1,875 and action folded back around to Rast. Rast called the three-bet and Scotty wasted little time four-betting to 6,150. Ruben five-bet shipped all in, Rast folded, and Nguyen called an additional 2,100 for his tournament life.

Nguyen: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Ruben: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

The board fell {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}, allowing Ruben's pocket aces to stay out in front. Nguyen was eliminated from play and Ruben's stack is now up to about 30,000.

Cantu Pots

Level 9

Pot-Limit Omaha

An early positioned player raised to 400 and the player in the small blind called. Brandon Cantu announced a pot sized raise from the big blind, making it 1,600 to go. Both of his opponents called to see a flop.

The dealer fanned {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} on the felt and the small blind checked.

"Pot," said Cantu once again, betting 4,800.

The original raiser quickly got out of the way and the small blind thought for a moment before releasing his cards as well. Cantu raked in the pot and now has about 37,000 in chips.
