Former main event final tablist, Dennis Phillips, already has a final table at this year's WSOP and is apparently treading lightly early, trying position himself for another deep run.
Dutch Boyd raised to 125 from middle position and opponents in the cutoff and big blind made the call. The flop was , the player from the big blind checked and Boyd bet 150. The player in the cutoff called and his other opponent folded.
The fell on the turn, Boyd continued for 300 and their opponent folded. Boyd was down to around 1,000 at one point, but is steadily chipping back up.
We caught the action after a flop and a player from the button had bet 500. Gal Yifrach raised all in to 1,550 and a second opponent made the call. The original bettor moved all in, Yifrach called and the other player got out of the way.

The turn provided no help for Yifrach and he would have to catch any heart but the seven to stay alive. The river was the and Yifrach took the pot.
A player from early position raised to 50 and Dwyte Pilgrim called. The player on the button three-bet to 225, the original raiser folded and Pilgrim made the call. The flop was and both players checked. It went check-check again after the turn.
The river was the and again Pilgrim checked. His opponent bet 375 and after a brief thought, Pilgrim folded. Pilgrim has been fairly active early on, but can't seem to get anything going and is sitting at less than half of his starting stack.
