Bleznick Busted in PLO Hand

Level 8

Pot-Limit Omaha

Allen Kessler was motioning for us to come to his table, and with good reason too as Jared Bleznick had just gotten his chips in on a {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop against Daniel Alaei.

Bleznick: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Alaei: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Bleznick had flopped two pair, but it was way behind the set of Alaei. The {2-Diamonds} turn meant Bleznick needed the case eight just to chop, but that didn't happen as the {4-Hearts} blanked on the river.

Juanda Fires Three Bullets

Level 8

Omaha 8

John Juanda, Scott Seiver, and Ofir Mor took a flop of {2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}. Juanda led out, both of his opponents called, and the turn was a repeat king - the {k-Diamonds}.

Juanda fired out another bet, both Seiver and Mor called, and the {4-Clubs} completed the board. Juanda bet, Seiver folded, and Mor tank-called. The five-time WSOP bracelet winner fanned {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a full house, and Mor mucked.

Yu Passes The Test

Level 8
Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Pot-Limit Omaha

Gus Hansen effectively put Ben Yu to a decision for his tournament life, betting 45,000 into a pot of about the same size on a {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} board.

Yu took his time before making the call and after Hansen announced he had one pair, Yu turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Looking at Yu's top two pair was enough to get Hansen to muck.

Negreanu Falls to "Crazy Elior"

Level 8
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

No-Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button and he raised to 3,600. Online pro Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion was in the small blind and opted for a three-bet to 8,800, which Negreanu called after the big blind folded. The {k-}{4-}{2-} flop contained two diamonds, and Sion put out a bet. Negreanu moved all in and Sion wasted little time in making the call.

Sion: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Negreanu: {k-}{10-}

Negreanu had flopped top pair, but he had to dodge the diamond draw of Sion. He did so on the {J-Hearts} turn, but not on the {7-Diamonds} river. Sion made his flush and that was all she wrote for "Kid Poker."

Meanwhile, Mike Wattel was eliminated in unknown action over at Table 362.

Razz

Chris Bell just went broke getting it all in on fifth street after a series of bets went in the pot against Both Scott Clements and Shaun Deeb. Clements mucked {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs} / {x-} and Bell did the same with {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {x-} after Deeb showed and eighty-seven.

Elezra Trips Rast

Level 8
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Stud

Bruno Fitoussi: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Clubs} / {x-}
Brian Rast: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{k-Hearts} / {x-}

Elezra brought it in, Rast completed, and Fitoussi raised. Both Elezra and Rast called, and Fitoussi led out on both fourth and fifth street. His two opponents called.

Fitoussi slowed down on sixth, checking, as did Elezra. Rast tossed out a bet and only Elezra called.

"I'm glad you have first action," Elezra said, grinning.

Rast tossed out another bet on seventh, and Elezra tanked for a bit before raising. Rast begrudgingly called, then mucked when Elezra showed {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for trip deuces.
