Buzgon Squeezes Out a Double

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

A player was all in from middle position and called by Matt O'Donnell on the button, but Dan Buzgon woke up with an all-in shove for 25,750 on top from the small blind. After taking some thinking time, O'Donnell folded to leave Buzgon heads up with the short stack.

Buzgon: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Middle position: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Buzgon's kings held as the board came {4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Pantaleo Wins Another

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Giuseppe Pantaleo checked from the small blind on the {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, which put the action on Bruno "Kool Shen" Lopes, who is something of a celebrity in France thanks to his rap music career. Lopes bet 1,500 and Pantaleo called.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} flop, but Pantaleo led for 6,700 on the {9-Spades} river and Lopes let his hand go.

Arieh Gets Huge Double

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Josh Arieh just doubled up with {j-}{7-}, top two on the flop on a community of {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}. His opponent's hand was already in the muck by the time we arrived at the table.

At another table, Jeremy Ausmus lost his last 10,000 with the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} on a flop of {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. His opponent called Ausmus' shove with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and held.

Radoja, Lyndaker Bust

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Mark Radoja, pictured in a different event.
Mark Radoja, pictured in a different event.

Mark Radoja jammed his last 6,175 with {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} preflop from early position and was called by the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} of Bruno Kawauti. Radoja couldn't catch up on the {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Spades} board, and he shook Kawauti's hand before hitting the road.

At another table, Richard Lyndaker called off his last 9,000 or so when an opponent put him at risk on a jack-high board on the turn. Unfortunately for Lyndaker, his opponent had the {a-}{j-} he was representing, and Lyndaker had just two outs with {10-}{10-}. He didn't get there.

OMG! They Busted Kenney

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Bryn Kenney over-bet shoved for 30,000 on a {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop with around 10,000 in the pot. His opponent instantly called and showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the nut flush, leaving Kenney's {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} a very expensive second best hand.

Amirov Wins a Flip to Bust Yu

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Ben Yu was all-in preflop with the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and was called by Ilkin Amirov who held {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

Amirov paired his ace on the {Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{A-Spades} flop and when the turn and river fell {10-Spades} and {Q-Clubs} it was game over for Yu.

McKeehen Looks Up Koon

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

We found Joe McKeehen considering an all-in wager from Jason Koon. The board was {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and Koon had set his opponent all in for 11,700, slightly more than the pot. McKeehen commented that he had thought Koon looked like he was going to fold preflop. After thinking it over for about 30 more seconds, he dropped in some chips.

McKeehen: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Koon: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}

McKeehen was ahead, but he had plenty of outs to dodge. The {7-Hearts} wasn't one of them, and the American doubled up.
