Levy Ships the River

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Steve Levy checked the turn into a hefty pot of about 9,500 on a board of {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}, and his opponent on the button checked it back. On the {2-Diamonds} river, Levy quickly stacked all of his chips and dropped them into the middle, and his opponent folded.

Musumeci Shown Broadway

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Amanda Musumeci opened to 250 in the cutoff and got three-bet to what appeared to be 825 by the player on the button. Musumeci called, then she check-called 1,100 on an {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop. She check-called 2,000 more on the {k-Spades} turn, and the {3-Clubs} river led the player on the button to fire a final bet of 5,300. Musumeci quickly called once more, but her opponent turned over {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a turned Broadway straight to win the pot.

Smith Runs Hot Early

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

From the button, Dan Smith raised and then called a reraise of approximately 2,300 from the player in the small blind. Smith called another 1,800 on the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, and the small blind bet 3,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Smith took his time, thinking for about 30 seconds before calling, and the {2-Hearts} arrived on the river. The small blind fired all in for 6,175, and Smith snap-called.

Smith showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for top set on the flop, and his opponent simply said "good game" before making sure he was covered. Smith pointed at the two cards his opponent had slid forward, as they had to be shown per World Series of Poker rules: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

Cody Coolered

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

We found Jake Cody in the cutoff calling a bet of 2,150 on a {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board, and the big blind fired again with 5,000 on the {10-Clubs} river. Cody quickly called, and the big blind showed {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a full house. Cody showed how unlucky he had been, turning over {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a lower boat.

Meanwhile, Tony Dunst has managed to run his stack up over 41,000 at a nearby table.
