Loeser Loses Out then Busts

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Manig Loeser has been eliminated from Event #55 a few moments ago.

We saw a hand where Loeser raised to 3,200 from the button, Roland Israelashvili three-bet from the big blind and then called when Loeser set him all-in for his remaining 31,700 chips. Israelashvili called with {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Loeser showed the dominating {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

Loeser's hand remained best up to the river of the {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} board, the eight on the river winning the pot for Israelashvili and leaving Loeser with 11,000 chips.

Loeser's seat is no occupied by another player so it looks like the talented German has been eliminated.

Boatman's Shove Gets Through

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Barny Boatman raised to 3,500 from the cutoff and the player in the big blind made the call. The flop was {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Boatman was check-raised to 10,000 after a bet of 3,100. Boatman reraised all in and his opponent folded.

Boatman started the day with right around 10 big blinds, but is now above average.

Hecklen Off to a Great Start

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Denmark's Henrik Hecklen started the day with a shade under 70,000 chips and now has a mountainous stack containing 170,000.

This is Hecklen's first World Series of Poker cash and he's doing his chances of a deep run no harm at all.

Lindgren Takes on Suriano

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A heavily pregnant Erica Lindgren raised to 3,200 from middle position and the recent addition to the World Series of Poker bracelet winner club Davide Suriano called from the button. Both blinds passed and the dealer got to work spreading the {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop.

Lindgren checked, Suriano bet 4,300 and Lindgren called. There was similar action on the {K-Clubs} turn; Lindgren checked, Suriano bet 5,000 and Lindgren called. Both players then checked the {A-Hearts} river, Lindgen winning the substantial pot courtesy of her {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} that had improved to a set.

Ellwood Eliminated

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jack Ellwood doubled during the first level of the day, but has busted during the second one. We didn't catch the British pro's exit hand, but as he walked past us on his way to the cage he said a simple "never mind," and continued onwards to collect his money.

Beasley Busts One in Big Fashion

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A player opened to 3,500 from middle position and the player on the button moved all in for 10,000 total. Cherie Beasley also moved all in from the small blind for 25,000 total. Everyone else got out of the way and Beasley's opponent begged for her to have ace-king. He tabled {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}, but was dominated by Beasley's {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop gave Beasley quads and her opponent's day was finished.
