Late Entry, Quick Exit

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Ole Schemion didn’t last too long but there wasn’t much he could do about it as a few hands in he got dealt {k-}{k-} and ran straight into {a-}{a-}.

Andrew Lichtenberger didn’t have much luck either getting it all in preflop with {a-}{j-} against a suited {k-}{q-} and losing to a straight on the river. That left him with 700 chips and they went in with {q-}{10-} but lost out to the {k-}{q-}.

Jafari Dooms a Dozen

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

PJ Jafari is up to 43,000 in chips now and recently told PokerNews that he had personally eliminated twelve people from the tournament so far. Too bad for him it’s not a bounty tournament.

Spegal Gets Paid

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Michael Spegal was under-the-gun and check called the flop of {q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. He then check-raised to 6,300 on the turn {2-Clubs} and got a call.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Spegal moved all in for 10,400. His opponent took a good five minutes to think it over during which time the table let him think in peace, but eventually it went on too long and another player called the clock.

With seven seconds to go he made the call and Spegal showed him {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for the full house. His opponent turned over {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Spegal built his stack back up.
