Cantu Doubles Through Locascio

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Brandon Cantu is up to 310,000 after doubling through Italy's Ferdinando Locascio.

The chips went in preflop, Locascio holding {Q-}{Q-} and Cantu {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The board ran {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Cantu doubled his stack, much to the annoyance of Locascio who let out a loud expletive!

Brandon Cantu raised to 18,000 and Justin Zaki raised all-in for 70,000 from the small blind. Ferdinando Locascio then reshoved for 103,000 and Cantu eventually folded.

It was {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for Zaki versus the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} of Locascio and when the board ran {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} Locascio was back in business.

Jared Jaffee raised, Jimmy Guerrero three-bet and then called when Jaffee set him all-in for his tournament life.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God," said Guerrero when he saw his {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} was racing against Jaffee's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. It was a race he would lose, however.

Jaffee took the lead on the {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop, went further ahead on the {A-Hearts} turn and then locked up the hand on the {J-Hearts} river.

Peng Takes It Down on the River

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Gustavo Kamei raised to 20,000 under the gun and Xiao Peng three-bet to 42,000 from the next seat along. Kamei called and the dealer spread the {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} flop. Kamei checked and Peng checked behind.

Both players checked the arrival of the {3-Hearts} on the turn and Kamei checked the {A-Diamonds} river. Peng bet 40,000 and took down the pot without showdown.
