The day began with 181 players in the mix, but the six-handed format of the day's play resulted in those 181 hopefuls being reduced to 50 or so within the first four levels. The bubble burst during the first level of play, an unnamed player crashing out when his ran into the of Chou Chou and couldn't improve.
Once the bubble burst, the floodgates opened and the pace of the eliminations was nothing short of frantic.
