Welcome to Day 2 of Event #58: $1,500 Mixed-Max No-Limit Hold'em. On Day 1 the tournament saw 1,475 entries trimmed to just 181 after 10 levels of nine-handed play.

Shashank Jain was the overnight chip leader, stacked at 130,300. Brandon Cantu was close behind with an impressive 122,300. Other notables who finished Day 1 with chips were Jared Jaffee (109,300), Allen Cunningham (48,600), and James Woods (33,500).

The 181 returning players will play 10 levels of 6-handed poker on Day 2 and with the top 162 being paid for their efforts. Those who are fortunate to survive Day 2 will come back on Day 3 for four-handed play.
