Melissa Burr Doubles

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Melissa Burr raised after Sun Kwak limped in and it was folded back to Kwak who called. The flop came {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Kwak led out, Burr raised and Kwak called. The turn was the {K-Hearts} and Kwak checked to Burr who bet her last 8,000. Kwak called and said he had a "crappy flush draw" as he tabled {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Burr responded"I have a king" and turned over {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. The river was a safe {6-Clubs} and Burr doubled up to 130,000 in chips.

We missed the hand but according to John D'Agostino, he held {A-}{9-}{4-}{3-} with two diamonds and Brendan Taylor had {A-}{A-}{8-}{3-} on a flop of {9-}{8-}{6-} with two diamonds. The chips went in and another nine on the turn would give D'Agostino trips. The river was a six to send Taylor out in 16th place.

Glantz Excited and He Can Hide It

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

We get to the table with a flop of {Q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Matt Glantz check-calling a bet from David Williams. He would do the same on the {3-Hearts} turn. The river was the {A-Hearts} and Glantz led out. Williams went into the tank, talking under his breath to himself, and then countdc out how much was in the pot. He relented and pushed his cards to the dealer.

"Don't want you to think I was bluffing," said Glantz as he showed the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

"Nine, nine, deuce, four," said Williams.

"Nah, if I had that hand, I would have raised," Glantz responded, smiling.

D'Agostino Doubles Through Burr

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Melissa Burr raised the button and John D'Agostino three-bet from the big blind. They money went all in before the flop with D'Agostino all in and at risk for his last 43,000.

Burr: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}
D'Agostino: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, giving D'Agostino a winning set of queens for the double.

Bees Quadruples Up

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

We arrived at the table to find five players looking down at {10-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Jordan Morgan and Scott Abrams checked and Michael Bees moved all in for his last 7,000. Kwak called and Joe Mitchell raised from the button. Morgan folded, Abrams called, and Kwak called as well.

The {7-Spades} hit the turn and both Abrams and Kwak checked over to Mitchell. He led at the pot and found two more callers. The {J-Clubs} finished the board and all three active players checked. Bees showed {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for pocket kings. It was good against all of his opponents and he was able to scoop the main pot.

Mitchell showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for queens to take the side pot. Bees now has about 240,000 in chips.
