Burr Bests O'Shea

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

John O'Shea raised from early position and was called by both blinds, seeing a {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop. Everyone checked, and a {7-Hearts} hit. Melissa Burr bet out from the small blind, the big blind mucked, and O'She raised. Burr called before betting the {2-Hearts} river. O'Shea called, mucking at the sight of Burr's {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, good for eights and the nut low.

Blinded Down and Out

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

A player who was blinded down to a single T500 chip waited in vain for someone to bust until he went all in under-the-gun just after the level changed. He found himself heads-up against the big blind, Brendan Taylor.

Taylor: {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} gave Taylor two pair, while a {7-Clubs} gave him a straight. The {8-Hearts} river was a brick, and hand-for-hand play ended at last.

Also, the tournament staff restarted the level to make up for time lost during hand-for-hand play.

Linde "Has Balls"

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Dylan Linde got it all-in preflop and was called by the big blind. After the other tables wrapped up, the two tabled.

Linde: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Big blind: {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a beautiful flop for Linde - {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} - giving him nines with no possibility of a low. The {4-Clubs} and {q-Clubs} completed the board.

"You got balls, kid," one of the players at the table said.
