Purple Update

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

We still have about 10 tables left in the Amazon Purple section and among those is Duy Ho, who already reached the final table of the $ 1,000 No Limit Hold'em (Event #45). He may very well be on the way to another though, as Ho got a nice donation to boost his stack.

Ho called a three-bet preflop to 1,900 and then min-raised the continuation bet of his opponent on a ten-high flop from 2,800 to 6,000. The opponent somehow got his stack in with {A-}{Q-} thanks to the re-entry format and Ho sent him to the rail with pocket aces.

Spectacle in Blue

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Ryan Laplante and Jack Salter are on their third bullet with double starting stack, Salter actually used his three bullets in half an hour so far.

Anthony Spinella doubled up for 3,400 with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} versus {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} on the {8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board.

Max Steinberg won a curios triple-suckout hand with {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} versus {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} versus {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} after all three players had their chips in preflop. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs} and each of them had something from the board.

Last but not least, Andrew Brown sucked out on Andy Frankenberger with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} versus {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} after spiking a set on the {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} river.

Half An Hour Left

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Level six has less than 30 minutes remaining for the late registration until the re-entry period concludes once the third and final break for the second flight is over. The screens now show 4,387 entries in total and it seems unlikely that the 4,756 entries from last year will be reached.

Silver Status

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Often it is hard to tell on which bullet some of the pros are, Mark Herm mentioned in table chat that he is on the third. Below we have some further updates from the silver section.
