Cunningham Takes it Down

Level 6

Razz

Cunningham: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{8-}{6-}{5-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{2-}{8-}{7-} --fold
Opponent #2: {x-}{x-} / {3-}{6-} --fold

A player with a {4-} showing completed and the player next to him with a trey called. Allen Cunningham was next to act with a {6-} and he raised the action. Both of the aforementioned opponents called.

Action checked over to Cunningham on fourth street and he continued out with a bet. The first player called while the player with {3-}{6-} showing let his cards go, leaving the two heads up to fifth.

Cunningham paired sixes on fifth, which led to his opponent firing out into him. Cunningham stuck around and action was checked to him on sixth. Cunningham bet, his opponent thought for about 30 seconds and ultimately decided to ditch his hand. Cunningham won the pot and now has about 7,000 in chips.

Chiu Falls

Level 5

Badugi

We picked up with the action on the final draw to see David Chiu already all in and at risk against two players. The first player to act drew one card, Chiu stood pat, and his late position opponent stood pat. All three players checked the final betting round.

Chiu showed {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for a nine badugi, but was ultimately bested by his late position opponent's {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{A-Spades} for a nine-three badugi. Chiu shook his head as he stood up and took his leave from the tournament area.

Leah Runs Into an Eight Perfect

Level 5

2-7 Triple Draw

We arrived to see Mike Leah and an opponent each draw two cards on the first draw. Leah's opponent shot out a bet and Leah called to see the second draw.

Both players pulled one new card on the next draw and they both checked afterwards. Both took one new card one last time and Leah's opponent fired a final bet. Leah called, only to see his opponent made {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Leah mucked and watched as his opponent dragged in the pot. Despite this hit, Leah is still sitting on a sizable stack of 14,000.

One For Negreanu

Level 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daniel Negreanu and an opponent took a flop of {10-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Spades} and action checked over to "KidPoker". He bet 350 and his opponent called to see the {Q-Clubs} fall on the turn. Negreanu's opponent checked for a second time and Negreanu knocked the table back.

The river was the {A-Clubs} and both players checked once again, prompting Negreanu's opponent to show {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks. Negreanu showed {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of queens which was enough to take down the pot. Negreanu is now up to about 11,500 in chips.
