Matt Glantz Eliminated

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

We came to the table of Matt Glantz and his seat was empty. Instead, the player in seat six had a ton of chips and is our probable chip leader at the moment. What happened? Joseph Salvaggi opened to 4,200 from under the gun, Glantz three-bet to 11,500, Salvaggi then made it 23,800.

The raising war wasn't over yet as Glantz clicked it to 45,000 and then called all in for 112,000 with pocket queens only to have his opponent show aces. No help on the board and Glantz is done for the day.

Kolev Gets Chips Back

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On his old table Yuliyan Kolev first lost some chips after raising to 4,100 and then calling the three-bet of Maria Ho in the small blind to 12,600. On the {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Ho took it down with a continuation bet of 10,800.

On the new table with Joseph Salvaggi, he had not unpacked his chips yet when a player moved all in for 30,000. Kolev one seat over called and the other players behind him folded. The opponent showed {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} but Kolev had that beat with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The board ran out {2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} gave both their set and the Bulgarian raked in the chips.

Tony Cousineau Eliminated, 60th WSOP Cash

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Tony Cousineau was eliminated when he moved all in for just over 10 big blinds from under the gun with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and was called by a bigger stack who held {Q-}{Q-}. Cousineau was unable to improve and is eliminated. This was the veteran professional's 60th WSOP cash according to him, which is good for a four way tie for 11th all time with Chau Giang, David Chiu, and TJ Cloutier.

Almost Perfect Timing

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The button moved all in and Jeffey Cole snap called one seat over, the big blind folded with the words "there are too many deuces in the deck."

Cole had {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and had a sweat versus {A-Spades}{2-Spades} on the {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board. One hand later, the now crippled opponent moved all in with {J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Cole called with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The big blind moved all in for 14,700 with {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Cole called off, the board ran out {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} to give the big blind a runner runner double up.
