Hand 23: Jeff Smith raised preflop and won the pot.

Hand 24: Frank Patti raised to 40,000 under the gun and got a call from Danny Nguyen on the button, as well as from John Fontana in the big blind. The flop of {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} got a check from Fontana, a bet of 50,000 from Patti, and everyone folded.

Hand 25: Danny Nguyen raised from the cutoff to 42,000 and Frank Patti three-bet to 83,000. After Nguyen called, we saw a flop of {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Nguyen led out for 88,000, which won the pot.

Hand 26: John Fontana raised to 60,000 from the button and Frank Patti three-bet from the small blind and won the pot.

Hand 27: Chris Haugo raised to 42,000 under the gun and Jeff Smith three-bet to 120,000 from the small blind and won the pot.

Hand 28: Danny Nguyen raised to 42,000 from the small blind and won the blinds and antes.

Hand 29: Frank Patti rasied to 40,000 under the gun and received a call from Danny Nguyen. The flop came {9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{a-Spades} and both players checked. The {q-Hearts} came on the turn and Patti bet 40,000. Nguyen called and the turn came {q-Diamonds}. Both players checked and Nguyen's {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} was good enough to win the pot.

Chris Hunichen Eliminated in 6th Place ($53,951)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Chris Hunichen - 6th Place
Chris Hunichen - 6th Place

Hand 22: Chris Hunichen opened to 50,000, Danny Nguyen called from the big blind, and the two saw a {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop. Danny slid out a bet and Chris snap-shoved all in. Nguyen quickly called putting Hunichen at risk.

Nguyen: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}
Hunichen: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

Hunichen was behind but had outs to a flush and his ace was live. The turn {2-Diamonds} and river {6-Hearts} gave no aid, however, and Hunichen was knocked out in sixth place.

This is the second straight year with a sixth-place finish for Hunichen, as he took sixth in last year's WSOP Millionaire Maker event for $229,575.

Hands #13-18: Nguyen Drags a Couple

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Hand 13: Danny Nguyen accidentally called, and John Fontana called as well on the button. Chris Hunichen checked his big blind, and {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Spades} flopped. Nguyen bet 56,000 after Hunichen checked, Fontana folded, and Hunichen shoved, getting a relatively quick fold.

Hand 14: Patti got a walk.

Hand 15: Patti raised to 50,000 in the small blind, and Jeff Smith repopped to 125,000. Patti called, but he then check-folded to another 125,000 on the {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop.

Hand 16: Fontana opened to 54,000 and took down the pot.

Hand 17: Patti raised to 40,000 and got called by only Nguyen. Nguyen check-called the {q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop for 45,000. The turn brought an {a-Spades}, and Nguyen fired out 82,000. That was good enough to get Patti to fold.

Hand 18: Patti raised to 40,000 and once again, Nguyen called, as did Fontana in the big blind. Everyone checked to Nguyen on the {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, and he won the pot with a bet of 45,000.

Hand 7: David Inselberg opened to 50,000 and won the pot.

Hand 8: Danny Nguyen raised to 40,000 and was called by John Fontana. Nguyen's continuation-bet of 45,000 took down the pot.

Hand 9: Chris Haugo opened for a raise and saw all-in shoves from John Fontana and Chris Hunichen behind him. Haugo called it off as well.

Haugo: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Fontana: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Hunichen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The dealer spread the flop {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to give Fontana a set.

"Yessss!" he yelled in celebration.

The {6-Hearts} and {j-Spades} completed the board, and Fontana doubled up while Hunichen sent a chunk of his stack to Haugo for the side pot.
