Both players checked and the 
fell on the river. Roberts bet enough to put his opponent all in, over his 11,000 remaining chips. The Russian looked back at his cards and stared daggers at the impassive Roberts. It looked like he hated it but he released his hand.
As Roberts collected the pot and released his cards the losing player pointed at them and demanded, “Show me.” Roberts said nothing.
