Lehmann Stays Alive

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Noah Schwartz opened for 1,500 from middle position and received a call from Ali Davar on the button. Georg Lehmann came along from the big blind, and three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Lehmann checked, as did Schwartz, and Davar bet 6,000.

Lehmann responded by check-raising all in for 15,675, Schwartz folded, and Davar quickly called.

Davar: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Lehmann: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Davar held a big pocket pair, but Lehmann flopped both straight and flush draws. The {A-Diamonds} turn was no help to Lehmann, but the {9-Diamonds} turn was, giving him the aforementioned straight.
