Schemion's Sevens Win

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

On the turn the board read {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts} when we picked up the action as Ole Schemion checked. The player in position bet 625 and Schemion tanked for a bit before making the call.

The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Schemion checked again.

"Sixes," his opponent said as he showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Schemion smiled and tabled {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} to take down this pot.

Franklin Busts Sanzone

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

In a multi-way limped pot, the flop was {Q-Hearts}{8-}{7-Hearts}. Ryan Franklin bet 700 on the flop, and only Steven Sanzone called to see the turn. The turn was a blank, off-suit low card, and both players checked to see the {5-Hearts} complete the board on the river. Sanzone checked, Franklin bet enough to put him all in for around 4,000, and Sanzone called off.

Franklin showed the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a heart flush, and Sanzone mucked his hand.

Sanzone was eliminated from the tournament, while Franklin climbed to 58,000 in chips.

Mercer Forced to Fold

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Heather Sue Mercer raised to 400 in middle position, and the action folded to a player in the big blind, who defended. The flop fell {5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, both players checked, and the turn was the {9-Spades}.

Mercer called a bet of 500, the {4-Hearts} completed the board, and the player in the big blind lazily tossed out a single yellow T1,000 chip. Mercer considered the bet for 30 seconds or so, then folded.

The player flashed the {k-Diamonds}.
