Tamayo and Harrington Meet Up

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Court Harrington was moved to the Amazon Room recently and he's now fighting it out with Jonathan Tamayo.

Tamayo raised it up to 700 and Harrington called from the big blind. The flop came down {10-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Harrington check-called 800. On the turn, the {K-Diamonds} hit and both players checked.

The river, the {6-Diamonds}, was checked and Harrington took down this small pot showing {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Radoja Rivers a Straight

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Mark Radoja

There was a raise to 725 from under-the-gun, a player called in middle position, and Mark Radoja called on the button. Tim Finne put in a three-bet from the big blind, making it 3,200 to go, and all three players called.

The trio all checked on a flop of {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts}, and again on the turn ({j-Spades}). The {q-Clubs} completed the board, and the action checked to Radoja. He bet 4,200 and only Finne called.

Radoja turned over {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a straight, and Finne slid his hand into the muck.

O’Dwyer A Non-Believer

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Govert Metaal and Steve O’Dwyer have played a fair amount of poker together in recent times and now they are sat next to each other in the Main Event in Brasilia. They were tangling in a pot that had reached the river with the cards neatly lined up and showing {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

There was nearly 8,000 in the pot and Metaal had moved all-in for 8,000. O’Dwer wasn't sure what to make of it and told Metaal, “I know how much fun it is to watch you play.”

Metaal gave off no signs and after a few more moments O’Dwyer put out the call. Metaal showed him {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and O’Dwyer mucked. “I didn’t want to believe you,” he said to Metaal.
