Canali Doubles

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Pierre Canali was all in for 179,000 with the {K-Clubs}{7-Spades} and dominated by the {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} of Bryan Shay. Despite being behind, the {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades} board gave Canali trip sevens and doubled him up.

Benger Closing in on Four Million After Eliminating Miller

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Bob Miller opened for 44,000 under the gun and action folded around to Griffin Benger, who opted for a three-bet to 94,000 from the small blind. The big folded, and then Miller four-bet shoved for 358,000 total. Benger snap-called and Miller discovered the bad news.

Miller: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Benger: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Miller was in desperate need of a jack, but he'd be left wanting as the board ran out {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Miller hit the rail while Benger chipped up to 3.92 million.

Palmer: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Bradpiece headed to the rail as Palmer climbed to 3 million in chips.

Bradpiece Crippled, Schulz Doubled

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Scott Palmer, who's been trending up nicely in the current level, just raised to 40,000 after which Jerome Bradpiece moved all in. From Bradpiece's left it was Robert Schulz who called all in and the other players folded back around to Palmer. He looked back down at his cards and tossed them into the muck.

Bradpiece: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Schulz: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the queen on the turn kept Schulz alive who was all in for 354,000 chips. Bradpiece was left with very little chips and he will be looking for a quick double up.

Rodriguez Busts

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mark Rodriguez was all in and at risk at one of the secondary feature tables, and Andoni Larrabe and a third player were battling for a side pot on a flop of {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Both players checked.

Larrabe tossed out a bet on the turn ({7-Clubs}), his opponent folded, and the hands were opened.

Rodriguez: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Larrabe: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Rodriguez needed some help, but the {k-Clubs} on the river only improved Larrabe's hand to a flush.

No Bananas for Kaczka

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

A short-stacked Harry "Ugotabanana" Kaczka shoved all in for 179,000 from the under-the-gun position and Brian "$tinger88" Hastings called him from late position. The rest of the players got out of the way and the cards were turned up.

Kaczka: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Hastings: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Kaczka was behind, but he was drawing to two live cards. He found one of them too as the {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} gave him the lead with jacks. The {4-Hearts} turn meant Kaczka was one card away from doubling, but then the {A-Clubs} spiked on the river to give Hastings a winning pair of aces.

Kaczka was eliminated in 162nd place, which was the next rung in the pay ladder, meaning he'll take home $52,141.

Nardello Five-Bet Shoves the Flop

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Todd Rebello opened to 40,000 from middle position and Nicholas Nardello called from the small blind.

Nardello led for 51,000 on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop before Rebello raised to 130,000. Nardello responded by making it 326,000 only to have Rebello return with a 730,000 four-bet.

Nardello paused, and then announced he was all in as Rebello - who was at risk for his remaining 1,360,000 - went into the tank for several minutes before eventually releasing his hand.
