Keranen Goes Runner-Runner on Van Hoof

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Gabe Paul opened to 85,000 and both Kyle Keranen and Jorryt van Hoof called from the button and big blind, respectively.

On the {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop, it would be Keranen betting out 130,000 with just van Hoof calling. The {A-Spades} on the turn was then checked by both players.

The river landed the {A-Diamonds} and van Hoof checked to Keranen who opted to bet out 155,000 with the Dutch player calling.

Keranen tabled his {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for runner-runner trips as van Hoof mucked and slipped to 1.5 million while Keranen climbed to 8.8 million in chips.

Maria Ho Eliminated in 77th Place ($85,812)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Maria Ho - 77th Place
Maria Ho - 77th Place

Maria Ho was under the gun and moved all in for 320,000. Zachary Hirst called from the hijack and the rest of the table folded.

Hirst: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Ho: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Hirst's pocket queens were in a dominating position heading to the flop and he extended his lead even further by making top set with {5-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

The {7-Diamonds} dropped down on the turn giving Ho four to a diamond flush. It was not meant to be, however, as the {A-Hearts} finished the board and Ho was eliminated from play. Hirst picked up the pot and now has 2.195 million in chips.

Ruberto Swears Off Reraising

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

After three-betting a middle-position open from Jason Johnson, Tony Ruberto saw Johnson come back with a four-bet.

"The four-and-five-bet table huh?" Ruberto said with his Boston accent. "Alright, I won't reraise any more. All flops from now on. I promise I won't reraise again."

Van Hoof's Kings No Match for Keranen's Full House

Kyle Keranen

From under the gun, Jorryt van Hoof opened to 90,000 and Kyle Keranen defended his big blind to see a {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Spades} flop.

Keranan checked, Van Hoof continued for 135,000, and Keranen called. The {J-Diamonds} fell on the turn and van Hoof bet out 480,000 with Keranen again check-calling.

The river landed the {5-Spades} and Keranen checked for a third time before van Hoof pushed out a bet of 1,890,000 which Keranen called.

Van Hoof tapped the table in a sign that he was conceding, but Keranen asked him to show.

Van Hoof tabled his {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} for two pair, but it would be Keranen's {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a rivered full house that would see Keranen scoop the monster pot and see his stack climb to 8.3 million as van Hoof slipped to 1.9 million in chips.

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Trevor Martin opened with a raise to 140,000 from middle position. Jeffrey Loiacono flatted from the cutoff and the button and blinds folded. The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Martin continued for 140,000. Loiacono called to see fourth street.

The dealer tapped the table and produced the {3-Spades} on the turn. Martin once again moved 140,000 into the middle of the table. Loiacono responded to this by moving out a raise to 360,000. Martin three-bet the action to 590,000 and Loiacono kicked his hand into the muck.

Kings For Goldstein

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Nathan Goldstein moved all in for 510,000 from the hijack and Chad Eveslage re-shoved from the small blind. The big blind folded and the showdown went as following.

Goldstein: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Eveslage: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{8-Spades} an Goldstein found a way to double his small stack. Eveslage has been on the wrong side of things for now, as he's lost almost a million of his chips in the first 30 minutes of the day.

Palmer Passes Seven Million

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

On the button, Scott Palmer raised to 90,000. Andoni Larrabe reraised to 245,000 from the big blind, and Palmer made the call.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, and Larrabe led with a bet of 180,000. Palmer put in a raise to 475,000, and Larrabe made the call to see the {6-Spades} land on the turn. After Larrabe checked, Palmer bet 675,000. Larrabe gave it up, and Palmer showed the {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for king-high.

With that, Palmer moved to 7.3 million, and Larrabe slid back to 3.45 million.
