Ferguson Loses Some

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Chris Ferguson raised to 3,500 in middle position and the big blind was the only caller.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the big blind check-called a bet of 4,000 from Ferguson.

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} and the big blind checked. Ferguson bet 7,000 and the big blind called.

The {K-Diamonds} hit the river and the big blind bet 20,000. After brief consideration, Ferguson called. The big blind rolled over {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} for Broadway which was good enough to win the pot against Ferguson's {K-}{K-}{9-}{8-}.

Eyster Slips

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A player limped in from middle position, Men Nguyen limped from the hijack, and Kevin Eyster raised to 6,600 from the button. The small blind three-bet shoved for about 25,000, both limpers folded, and after a bit of time in the tank, Eyster called to put the small blind at risk.

Kevin Eyster: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Small blind: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Eyster had the best of it preflop and his opponent needed to improve in order to win. The board ran out {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to give the small blind the nut flush for the double-up.

Israelashvili Turns a Straight Flush

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Roland Israelashvili in an earlier event
Roland Israelashvili in an earlier event

As told to the PokerNews Live Reporting team collectively by the players at the table, several players limped in, including Roland Israelashvili in middle position, and the small blind squeezed to 4,800. Israelashvili called and the cutoff called, as well.

The three players saw a flop of {4-}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and the small blind bet 15,000. Israelashvili jammed for 35,000, the cutoff called to put himself at risk with a stack of about 12,000, and the small blind called with a covering stack. The small blind had flopped an open-ended straight draw, the cutoff had the king-high flush draw and trip fours, and Israelashvili held {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The {5-Hearts} on the turn gave Israelashvili a straight flush and he took the pot to double up after the {A-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Belluscio Building

Level 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

There were about 11,000 chips in the middle and the board read {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} when we got to the table. The big blind checked, a player in middle position bet 7,500, Julio Belluscio called from the cutoff, the button folded, and the big blind called.

The {Q-Clubs} fell on the turn and action checked to Belluscio. He bet 10,500, the big blind folded, and the middle-position player called.

The {2-Spades} hit the river and the middle-position player checked. Belluscio bet 20,000, his opponent folded, and he took the pot.
