Big O

On the last hand in the round of Big O, John Hennigan raised pot out of the hijack. Jeremy Harkin called the 35,000 in the small blind and they went to heads-up to the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Harkin slid forward a pile of chips to put Hennigan all-in and he called off.

John Hennigan: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Jeremy Harkin: {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Harkin had a nut low draw and filled up on the {8-Spades} turn which also gave him the best high hand. Hennigan could hope for an ace or a deuce to chop but the {6-Hearts} river didn't help him. He walked around the table and shook hands with each of the six remaining players, wishing them good luck.

O'Dell Wins a Massive Race to Score a Gigantic Double

Frankie O'Dell

Big O

George Trigeorgis opened to 50,000 and Frankie O'Dell called in the big blind.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and the rest happened in a quick fashion. Trigeorgis c-bet 75,000, O'Dell check-raised pot and called when Trigeorgis shoved.

"I've got a massive draw," Trigeorgis said, tabling {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flush draw and a wrap in addition to his overpair.

O'Dell showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a middle set and the race was on.

The {8-Diamonds} turn gave Trigeorgis flush and pulled him ahead but the {Q-Hearts} paired the board on the river, giving O'Dell full house and rights to claim the gigantic pot.

"Yes!" O'Dell shouted.

Trigeorgis, on the other hand, ran few steps away from the table, ventilating his frustration.

"Are you f***ing kidding me?" he said and added in a calm voice. "Oh my f***ing god."

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

George Trigeorgis raised to 60,000 and Jeremy Harkin called in the small blind. Frankie O'Dell announced, "Pot!" out of the big blind, making it 240,000. Trigeorgis shoved over the top for about 100,000 more or so. Harkin folded and O'Dell quickly called.

Both players changed one on the first draw and then stood pat until the showdown.

O'Dell showed {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Trigeorgis slammed his {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} on the felt, knowing that the tournament was over for him. After two cruel hands against O'Dell, Trigeorgis was forced to leave in third place for a $52,130 payday. It's his second near miss this week as he finished fifth in the Mixed Triple Draw on Monday.
